Little Dixie Construction (LDC) serves as a general contractor for commercial and industrial clients. Widely known for manufacturing, warehousing, and office buildings, LDC also has extensive experience and proven expertise in specialty work, such as apartment-style buildings, long-term care facilities, and resort projects.

Based in Columbia, Missouri-in the heart of the area known as Little Dixie- projects have spread throughout mid-Missouri and into the Kansas City area.

Established in 1964, LDC has worked steadily to build skills, capabilities and a high quality finished product. Projects have grown from buildings of 5,000 square feet to 200,000 square feet. The value of these projects has grown from $250,000 to $13 million. The annual sales figure of LDC has also grown from $1 million to $20 million.

Close working relationships with subcontractors and local suppliers ensures better prices and better customer service for each client. For some projects, it is advantageous to use a particular firm's expertise or availability to augment LDC's services. LDC will work with any qualified service provider the client prefers.

LDC is flexible in structuring agreements for constructing each building. LDC takes pride in working closely with our clients in reviewing every budgetary situation. Budgetary needs are as important as the clients building needs. Leasing options are available in addition to traditional sale / purchase agreements. Land is also an important part of any investment and is a consideration for each project.
